Far West Nursery and Garden Center, a family-owned business since 1973, offers an abundance of ornamental landscape plants to satisfy your garden needs. We stock plants appropriate for Central Coast microclimates, many of which are drought-tolerant or native plants that encourage wildlife and pollinators. We also have colorful flowering plants, fruit trees, and privacy screening plants. Create your own tropical paradise or native habitat.

Explore our Garden Delights room and discover unique pottery, lush houseplants, gloves, seeds, and soil amendments. Throughout the nursery you’ll find trellises, stakes, and  a variety of soil products including manures, peat moss, potting soils,  
organic planting mixes, composts, and walk-on bark.

Far West suggests using the least toxic solutions to garden challenges. We have 
carefully selected organic fertilizers, safe pesticides and fungicides to protect your family and the environment. In addition, we are happy to recommend products to 
protect your plants from pests.

A word about deer resistant plants here. While no plant is absolutely deer-proof, we know which ones are the best choice for your environment and we will always have a good selection in stock for you to choose from. Come by and let us help you with your deer problems. We have a large selection of gopher baskets as well.
